Client Charter�Islamic Education Sector

We, the staff of Islamic Education Sector with determination, commitment and adhering to the motto “One Step Ahead”, pledge and promise to give commitment to: --


Ensure that the curriculum of Islamic education and Arabic is implemented in schools in the state of Johor under the provisions stipulated by the Ministry of Education.

  1. Ensure that Muslim students master Malay-Arabic writing and complete the reading of the Al-Quran while in primary school through the �j-QAF programme.
  2. Ensure that Muslim students in schools in the state of Johor would be able to perform the basics of Islam (PAFA) as determined by the Ministry of Education.
  3. Ensure the placement of Form 1 students to Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama (SMKA) is done in the first week of the �school session each year.
  4. Ensure the placement of Form 1 students to Government-Aided Religious Schools (SABK) is done on a school-based basis by the District Education Offices in accordance with procedures and conditions prescribed by the Ministry of Education and done in the first week of the school session each year.
  5. Ensure the process of transfer for students of SMKA /SABK within and out of the state of Johor is in accordance with procedures and conditions prescribed by the Ministry of Education Malaysia and carried out within 7 working days.
  6. Ensure the posting of teachers under the Islamic Education Division, Ministry of Education is done within 21 working days.
  7. Ensure the transfer of teachers in and out of the state is done within 14 working days provided approval has been given by the Ministry of Education or the Johore Education Department.
  8. Manage and resolve problems pertaining to staffing and services in accordance with circulars and regulations set by the Ministry of Education.
  9. Develop outstanding personality in Muslim students through educational programmes.
  10. Ensure that religious activities in schools, District Education Offices and the Johore Education Department are implemented according to instructions of the Ministry of Education.
  11. Be open to views, suggestions, recommendations and constructive comments from all parties in order to enhance service performance and academic excellence.

The Islamic Education Institution (IPA)

FUNCTION

(a) To coordinate and manage the requirements and operating aspects of the IPA JPN regarding school administration, management of teachers and students and the coordination of Islamic Medium Classes (KAA)

  • To coordinate, manage and evaluate the administration of IPA and its related operations�
  • To coordinate, manage and evaluate the implementation of Islamic curriculum of �IPA.
  • To coordinate, manage and evaluate the operations of student affairs, sports and co-curricular programmes of IPA
  • To coordinate, manage and evaluate the administration of matters relating to teachers of IPA
  • To coordinate, manage and evaluate the administration of Islamic Medium Classes (KAA)


(b) To coordinate and manage the development programmes of Islamic education and Arabic in the aspect of research and documentation

  • To coordinate, manage and evaluate �research on the implementation of Islamic Education and Arabic and to assess its success at various levels under the Johore Education Department
  • To manage and evaluate idea-generating activities and to publicise the findings of research on Islamic education and Arabic language through courses, seminars, conventions and workshops


(c) To coordinate, manage and evaluate procurement assistance, provision of services and development of IPA JPN and SAR KAFA (Private Religious School ), also of other Educational Institutions with Islamic Education programmes.

  • To manage, coordinate and evaluate the procurement assistance and provision of services of the IPA JPN and educational institutions which have Islamic education programmes
  • To coordinate, manage and evaluate assistance for physical development of IPA and other educational institutions which have Islamic education programmes
  • To coordinate, manage and evaluate financial assistance for SAR which implements the KAFA (Basics of Islam classes) curriculum

Dakwah Unit

FUNCTION

(a) To coordinate, control, manage and evaluate the implementation of policies and operational programs dakwah and leadership to students, teachers, officers and staff JPN

  • To coordinate, control, manage and evaluate programs and operations of Islamic Dakwah Council of Islamic Dakwah Activities Schools Malaysia (MAKDIS).
  • To coordinate, control, manage and evaluate programs of Islamic leadership.
  • To coordinate, control, manage and evaluate programs control the Islamic faith and thinking.


(b) To coordinate, control, manage and evaluate the implementation of development programs and strengthening of Islamic symbols of Islamic culture to students, teachers, officers and staff JPN

  • To coordinate, control, manage and evaluate development programs and character development of the symbols of Islam.
  • To coordinate, control, manage and evaluate programs and strengthening the cultural values of Islam.

Islamic Education Management Unit

FUNCTION

(a) To coordinate, manage and evaluate the implementation of Operation Islamic Education and Arabic and all the related requirements:

  • To coordinate, manage, and evaluate and control operating and major meetings related to the implementation of Islamic Education and Arabic
  • To coordinate and manage feedback regarding the implementation of operations and meetings related to the implementation of the operations of Islamic education and Arabic
  • To coordinate and manage the affairs of the needs of Islamic Education and Arabic Language Institute
  • Coordinate and manage and evaluate quality improvement programs and quality of implementation of SPI Operation Islamic Education and Arabic
  • To collect, analyze and manage data and information personnel, IPA and ITA program that related to the implementation of Operation Islamic Education and Arabic Language


(b) To coordinate, manage and supervise human resources management, financial management and administration and governance of ICT SPI and IPA.

  • coordinate and manage the affairs of management and administration of SPI.
  • coordinate and manage the affairs of service personnel in the SPI and IPA.
  • To coordinate and manage the financial affairs and accounts of SPI and IPA.
  • To coordinate and manage ICT application systems / portals.
